Blood Falls is what happens when Antarctica decides a glacier should look like it has suffered a dramatic kitchen accident. Red-orange fluid seeps from Taylor Glacier into the McMurdo Dry Valleys, staining the ice like a horror-film prop. It is not blood. That is the reassuring part.
